This is a rather straightforward Christmas carol that never had a decent arrangement, but for some reason I had to add these new drums I just got myself for Christmas, and with a french horn and cello suddenly I had something kinda cool and kinda different. I kinda like it!

When you think of the joys at Christmas
do you think of the toys at Christmas?
Do you know the best gifts are given?
They brighten up the world we live in
In the levity of the season
just remember there is a reason
To be selfish is only average
Let your heart exert some leverage
It’s a time for joy, a time to share
a time to show the world you care
Christmas may come just once a year
but you can always use
a little Christmas cheer
Let the holiday spirit flourish
in your heart for it will nourish
all the people who surround you
The results might just astound you
And if hard times fall upon us
let’s sing all the songs of Christmas
Pray the world will soon get better
