Any way the wind blows

make moog not war Bankrupts

My first impression as the tune starts is "fight scene". Martial arts, not boxing, and partly improvised.
It's not an easy listen, but has lots of energy and character which, when you're in the right mood, can raise you up.
Continually distracting is the copious amount of hiss, a thing particularly unexpected in this genre. At times it actually acts as distortion, which takes the edges off the notes with a blunt saw. Shame, that.
I like the sounds underneath the noise and directional decisions that are made, all of which say 'exploratory'. A lack of format can bring 'vital'.
My main problem is that I don't understand the tune's intentions; I can't empathise with the emotion behind it. Apart from the fight scene, no visuals appear. At the one part where you get a rhythm possible to tap into, the drums fall back and you lose the connection. The body's rhythms don't get to latch on to anything and feel frustrated.
That bonding opportunity was all I was asking for. Well, that and the clean-up.
