I was thinking about this the other day, and I now believe the order of reviews to be gotten should be in the order of last review done. Period.

Not complicated.

You did the last review. You get the next review.

Unless someone else reviews a song after you. Then they get the next review, and you get the review after theirs.

This is a lot like the penny auctions, where you only have to be the last penny bidder to win.

The vast majority of songs should not receive more reviews if the artist is not actively reviewing.

This would transform overnight AR reviews from a stagnant model to an active model, and I do not know if the indie musicians still want blind reviews, but the stagnant model has to go at any rate.

This is why AR should continue. The BRS can be fairly easily fixed.

... sorry guys ... it's too late.

I will not be asking Gregg to do any more coding or changing of this or that. The site is still up and it's still accessible and working (with occasional glitches) but really, that's all that's gonna be happening ... if somebody wants to make an offer to buy it, I'm sure we'd entertain offers.
you can't handle the truth.

nor do you want to ...

It is something to consider, ceej, not that I personally have any extra money or time floating around at the moment, but who knows, with an investor or two anything is possible.

There are three factors-

Annual cost of hosting the site

Cost of buyout

Cost of initial site changes to potentially increase traffic and generate revenue

I will think about it seriously.
