No pic of the pier I'm afraid, but I enjoyed reading about it.

Amigo... I'll meet you in Corny and i'll show you some really wild places. Stream fishing in the spring is AWESOME ! You can hear wolf packs at night. Dude.. there is food everywhere! At all times of the year but especially in the fall. Orchards.. mild berries.. wild rice.

Abundant wildlife. I want everyone to see it!

Quite honestly.. Theyd be happy to have another hunter. There is an over population of deer AND black bear!
There is a scant population of humans though. So I wouldnt shoot any of them.
I go up there ( I used to go there a few times a year) at least once a year. I spend a lot of time talkin to old man swenson. He is a troubled man... :( You see.. things are not what they used to be. There are Too MANY BEARS, Too MANY DEER!! .... Too many POPLAR TREES! such problems!
He also has a problem with developers building houses on less than 3 acres! I told him.. " where i'm from.. you have 6 familys living on an 8th of an acre! And if you go downtown you can times that by a thousand! LOL

Naww... it's quite a place. And an extremely slow pace. Peak travel season is right around our independence day( the point at which we began losing out freedom... but that's for the pollitical / chili forum ) . July fourth.. you can drive down 13 and be the only car on the highway! I Fugin love that place.
Bitch of a winter though. Those folks are gettin ready for winter in June! I shit you not!
